Fireplace in a house is one of the best add-ons for a new or renovated house. They add the aesthetic touch to the overall atmosphere of the house. In present times, mostly all houses have beautiful built stone fireplaces or electric fireplaces. In case you do not have a pre-installed fireplace in your house, you may install one by yourself. A fireplace also adds a modern look in the house. It is very easy to install a fireplace and does not require special knowledge, tools or efforts.

Steps to Install a Fireplace:

Mentioned below are some basic steps to install a fireplace in your house:

  1. First step is to make space for the fireplace. Choose the space where you intend to install a fireplace and make all necessary arrangements. In case you already have an allotted space for the fireplace, make sure the space is clean and empty.
  2. The next step is to paint the space according to the colour of the wall. For instance, if the colour of the wall is blue, then you need to colour the fireplace with the same blue colour.
  3. Next, you need to place a burner in the fireplace. To improve the look of the fireplace, you may make use of lava rocks, smaller rocks or small pea gravel. This also hides the burner and gives an aesthetic look to the fireplace. You may also make use of sand for improving the look of the fireplace.
  4. Finally, all you need to do is test the burning ability of the burner.
